Arsenal head coach Unai Emery has praised the rapid development of Joe Willock after the 20-year-old midfielder signed a new long-term contract.
Willock made several eye-catching performances last season and was one of Arsenals best performers during an impressive pre-season campaign.
The England Under-21 international was rewarded with a place in the starting line-up on the opening weekend of the Premier League season and kept his place for the matches against Burnley and Liverpool.
Willock has now made 20 senior appearances in total and Emery, as well as the clubs technical director Edu, expect the academy graduate to continue making rapid progress.
