Henrikh Mkhitaryan has completed a season-long loan move from Arsenal to Roma, both clubs have confirmed.
The 30-year-old midfielder came on as a second-half substitute in Arsenals 2-2 draw with Tottenham before flying to Italys capital the following morning to undergo a medical with the Serie A giants.
Though the Premier League transfer window ended on August 8, before the start of the 2019/20 season, Serie A clubs have been able to do business up until their 5pm deadline on Monday afternoon.
Its understood Roma will be paying Mkhitaryans £200,000-a-week wages and have the option to buy the Armenian at any time during his stay at the Stadio Olimpico.

Arsenal confirmed the move in a statement: Henrikh Mkhitaryan has joined Serie A side AS Roma on loan for the rest of the season.
Everyone at Arsenal wishes Micki all the best for his season with Roma. The loan is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
