Benfica wonderkid Joao Felix is being tracked by a number of Europes biggest clubs this summer, but he is becoming increasingly tempted by a move to Atletico Madrid.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in signing the 19-year-old, as are Italian champions Juventus, but it is Atletico that are stealing a march on their rivals.

Spanish publication AS report that Felixs agent, Jorge Mendes, has sold the prospect of Atleti to his client ahead of other potential destinations.

The prospect of developing as a player under Diego Simeone has been a big selling point to the young Portuguese star, which may prove more appealing than the financial pull of other clubs.

Felix has a release clause of £105m at Benfica and it is thought any club wanting his services will have to meet that this summer.

Atletico will have the funds to do so if Antoine Griezeman leaves, as expected for around the same figure, while Lucas Hernandez has already been sold to Bayern Munich for around £72m.

The teenager has emerged as their number one choice to replace Griezeman after scoring 20 goals in 43 games for Benfica this season across all competitions.

The Portugal international only made his debut for the Benfica first team this season, but swiftly became a regular in the side and picked up his first cap for his country in the Nations League semi-finals against Switzerland.
