West Ham boss David Moyes has been involved in a huge bust up with striker Andy Carroll, according to reports.

Carroll, 29, is thought to have been angry at being overlooked on Sunday as West Ham went down to a dismal 4-1 Premier League defeat at home to Manchester City.

Football London have claimed the pair were involed in a “heated exchange” at the clubs Rush Green training ground on Monday.

The former Newcastle man caused controversy when he made his way down the tunnel after Moyes made a triple substitution in the second-half which did not include Carroll.

When asked about Carrolls actions in the press conference after the game, Moyes said he would “deal with it”.

Carrolls angry expressions were caught on camera and this reportedly carried on into the next day.

West Ham news website Claret & Hugh claimed that “there were fierce and very loud words heard between the two” during Monday mornings training session.

talkSPORT has contacted West Ham on the issue and they replied the club said they have “nothing to say” on the alleged incident.

The defeat sees the Hammers in 15th spot and only three points above the relegation zone.

Their remaining games sees them travel to Leicester at the weekend, before finishing the season with home games against two of Moyes former clubs; Manchester United and Everton respectively.
