Arsenal have been given the green light to sign Bordeaux star Malcom after the clubs majority shareholder confirmed he would be sold this summer.
The French club turned down several bids for the Brazilian winger in January with both Spurs and Arsenal heavily interested in the 21-year-old.
The Gunners eventually signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan but Arsene Wengers fondness of Malcom is well known and Arsenal are likely to make another bid for him this summer.
Malcom was desperate to leave the club in the winter transfer window but the president of the company that owns Bordeaux has confirmed he will get his wish this summer.
There is a major player from Brazil who you know wants to leave the club and we will do that in all of our interests, said Nicolas de Tavernost.
It is the reason we bought this player in the first place, to eventually sell him in between seasons.

Arsenal could face competition from arch rivals Tottenham but a £60million price tag could deter Mauricio Pochettinos side.
Bayern Munich had been credited with an interest and viewed Malcom as a successor to Arjen Robben but the Dutchman is set to sign a new deal at the Allianz Arena.
