Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is willing to stay at Old Trafford next season so that he can leave the Red Devils for free in 2019.
The England full-back has just over 12 months to run on his existing deal at the Theatre of Dreams but Jose Mourinho is happy to let him go after being deemed surplus to requirements.
Mourinhos publicly criticised Shaw on a number of occasions and hes made just one appearance since being hooked at half-time in an FA Cup clash against Brighton in March.
United forked out £27.5million for Shaw from Southampton in 2014 and would look for a similar amount to let him go this summer but Shaw is willing to let his deal run down, according to the Guardian.
That could complicate Mourinhos desire to buy a new first choice left-back with the club looking for a replacement for 32-year-old Ashley Young.
Tottenham star Danny Rose is a leading candidate, while Juventus star Alex Sandro has also been considered.

Mourinho is equally determined to strengthen at right-back with the club wary that Antonio Valencia, 33 in August, has played 29 league games this year.
The Ecuadorian is likely to become club captain once Michael Carrick retires in the summer after 12 years at the club.
