Jurgen Klopp told his players to go out naked for training ahead of Liverpoolss Champions League clash against Manchester City.
The Reds entered their quarter-final second leg with a three goal lead, having run riot against Pep Guardiolas side at Anfield, with Mohamed Salah the star of the show.
All the talk leading up to the Etihad encounter focussed on Salah, and the Egypt star kept up his incredible form by scoring Liverpools first goal, to make it 1-1 on the night and 4-1 to the Merseyside outfit on aggregate.
And Klopp has now revealed just how much focus there was on Salah in the week building up to the big kick-off, by claiming he told his players to train NAKED as no one would notice.
The German said: “It is a really good group and, with Mo, everyone really likes the hype around him, all the boys.
“When we came out for the Champions League training before Man City, I said, Come on everybody, lets go out naked because no one will realise — they are just looking at Mo.
“Now we go to Rome. I dont think the hype will be a little bit less. But it is all okay.”
Salah has scored 40 goals in just 45 games this season following his summer transfer from Roma, and it is the forwards former club who Liverpool play in the semi-finals of Europes premier cup competition later this month.
