An incredible 25 clubs sent scouts to watch Sundays top-of-the-table clash between Benfica and Porto on Sunday night.

There were no fewer than ten Premier League clubs as well as Championship side Aston Villa at the Estadio de Luz.

Hector Herrera scored a dramatic 90th-minute winner for the visitors to seriously dent their rivals title challenge.

But much of the talking points came from before the game as Portuguese football analyst Tiago Estêvão posted the entire list of scouts in attendance at the game.

Just the 25 scouts came to Lisbon!

Manchester City, Liverpool and Manchester United had scouts at the game, as well as Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.

There were also scouts from relegation-threatened West Ham United, Swansea City and Southampton.

Leicester City and Arsenal also had representatives at the game, with their eyes peeled for the latest talent.

In recent years, Ramires, Ederson and David Luiz have all come directly from Portugal to the Premier League.

And global superstars Angel Di Maria and James Rodriguez have all plied their trade in the Primeira Liga before making big-money moves.
