Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has urged Jose Mourinho to make a success of Pogba or risk letting him go to another club.

Pogba returned to Manchester United in 2016 and despite helping the Red Devils win last years Europa League and EFL Cup, theres a feeling he could be performing better.

Hes played 31 times this season and bagged five goals, but hes been forced to sit on the sidelines by Mourinho for some vital games.

And Keown, who played 43 times for England, believes the French internationals time at Old Trafford may be up.

Manchester United 2017/18 Fixtures

Tottenham – FA Cup (N) – Sat April 21
Arsenal (H) – Sun April 29
Brighton (A) – Fri May 4
West Ham (A) – Thurs May 10
Watford (H) – Sun May 13

If Pogba is not giving him what he wants now, he will not play, Keown told the Mail. If he is not playing, it would not come as a surprise if he left in the summer.

Mourinho has to do more to make a success of Pogba or admit that this move did not work out for either party.

I do not know if he will ever be the player Mourinho wants him to be. Yet given the fee and that the club stuck their neck out to re-sign him, Jose must work harder to make a success of Pogba.

He is a master at getting the best from players — just look at the 20 major trophies he has won. He usually gets it right but when he does not, it can go spectacularly wrong.
