It seems a traditional Christmas dinner just isn’t enough for people this year.
And now, someone’s created the Christmas dinner lasagna – and we think that finally, someone’s taken it a bit too far.
Mister Lasagna, a London-based restaurant that offers 21 lasagna varieties, is launching a Christmas dinner-filled lasagna, and we don’t know what to think.
The lasagna comes stuffed with turkey, roast potatoes, Brussels sprouts, pancetta and caramelised red onions, and comes layered with a béchamel and cranberry sauce.
Honestly, we think it sounds super sickly and the thought of cheesy, pasta-covered Brussels sprouts isn’t a nice one.
However, the restaurant seems to think it is.
Mister Lasagna founder, Alessandro Limone, said: ‘This Christmas we wanted to create something special, we have given the British roast dinner an Italian twist! We think it is delicious and we hope our customers think so too.’
If you’re too much of a pasta-fanatic to pass this festive dish up, you can try it in all Mister Lasagna restaurants. It became available on 4 December and will be on the menu for £5.90 right up until Christmas.
Here’s to hoping they create some festive garlic bread to accompany the bizarre dish.
