Hazard, 26, joined the Blues in 2012 primarily as a winger and has shown his excellence in the position over the last five years.
But the Belgium international has also frequently been used as a false nine by Antonio Conte since the start of last season and Pedro says the squad have ‘no worries’ wherever he plays.
Hazard formed a three-man attack with Pedro and Willian in Tuesday’s 3-1 victory at Huddersfield Town. Pedro, 30, was one of four players brought back into the side for the trip.
‘It’s very good because we all understand football very well,’ Pedro said of his fellow attackers.
‘Eden is a fantastic player, and there are no worries if he plays as a striker or winger, which is very good for us.
‘I had more chances to score but the most important thing was the team-work and the win. I scored one goal and that’s good for me.’
Chelsea suffered a shock defeat to relegation-battlers West Ham at the weekend but bounced back with a comfortable win at Huddersfield.
The Blues, third in the top-flight, welcome Southampton to Stamford Bridge on Saturday and Thibaut Courtois has warned his teammates against complacency.
‘It’s a tough game, Southampton drew against Arsenal and it’s always difficult against them home or away,’ the Chelsea goalkeeper said.
‘We have to be careful because these are the games we have to win if we want to stay near the top and try to close the gap on Man City. Obviously we are far away but we want to keep on pushing and if we can’t catch them we want to finish second.
‘It was very good that we showed from the start we wanted to win against Huddersfield and that’s the mentality we need in every game.’
