Jose Mourinho‘s side have now gone four games without a win in all competitions, a run which also encompassed a Carabao Cup quarter final defeat at the hands of Championship side Bristol City.
United remain 14 points adrift of runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City, who have a game in hand to play against Crystal Palace on Sunday, and Pogba acknowledge he and his team must improve rapidly.
He said: ‘We have to bounce back, we have to wake up and get back to winning.
‘Maybe when you stop winning, you start losing. We lost in the cup against Bristol and after we keep draw, draw, draw.
‘So obviously the morale is a bit down, but a big team has to stand up and bounce back. That’s it.’
United were unlucky not to be awarded a first half penalty for Maya Yoshida’s handball offence and Pogba, who had a late goal correctly ruled out for offside, believes his side aren’t getting the rub of the green when it comes to refereeing decisions this season.
He added: ‘It’s a thing that I think we’ve been missing this season as well.
‘I don’t know how many penalties we had in Premier League, if I remember, maybe one. And this is a clear penalty. I wouldn’t give myself or the team an excuse, but it’s a penalty.’
