PUBG was launched on Xbox One last week and the first update is already here with the aim of improving the visuals and gameplay.
The online multiplayer battle royale has been hugely popular since launching as an early access game in March this year.
On release for Xbox One it sold over a million copies across the first three days and despite mixed reviews its popularity continues to grow.
While there are no major changes in this update, there are various tweaks that will please many die-hard fans of the game.
How to update PUBG on Xbox?
The next time you start up PUBG on your Xbox One you will be met with a mandatory update for the game.
PUBG’s update file size is 4.71GB and players are advised to restart their console after the patch is installed.
The update mainly includes minor updates to the game.

What are the changes in the PUBG Xbox update?
While many of the new changes to PUBG are minor, there are some new features and tweaks that fans of the game will be pleased to see.
Some of the main changes include making player icons more visible on the world map, as well as disabling the keyboard functionality that was originally in the game.
Players can now also use gas when they are on a bike or a bike with a sidecar.
PUBG has also said that there are also visual improvements as well as updates to the overall performance of the game.

Controls on motorcycle no longer inverted
Keyboard functionality is disabled
Fixed instances of player nametags not properly displaying in the lobby during Squad and Duo play
Fixed minor animation while crouching and prone
Fixed issues where curtains on windows block line of sight of players in the TPP mode
Fixed an issue where when Squad leader left the party, voice chat ceased to function as intended
Fixed issue where players could lean out of vehicles even when obstructed
Fixed collision of cardboard boxes in Yasnaya city
Fixed typo in the controller guide
