West Brom news: A Premier League assessment of Tony Pulis’ men after eleven games

Pulis kept Stoke and Crystal Palace in the Premier League before West Brom

The Baggies made an encouraging start, finding themselves in second spot after winning their opening two league matches.

But the story could not be more different now. West Brom are in free fall having not won a game since August.

League position: 16th (10 points)

Best game: Burnley 0-1 West Brom

Worst game: Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 West Brom

Best player: Jonny Evans

This has not been a vintage season for West Brom or Evans but the defender looks a cut above some of his teammates this season.

The Northern Ireland international attracted the interest of Manchester City in the summer, but that move never materialised.

West Brom fans will be worried about their club's recent form, but Pulis' track record suggests his team will comfortably avoid Championship football next season.

However, they could do with another player to score goals as Jay Rodriguez appears to lack the sharpness he had before his long-term injury he sustained as a Southampton player in 2014.
