Thursday, November 9, 2017
After narrowly avoiding the drop last time around, Paul Clement's side will have been keen to stay out of trouble this term, however, it is not working out that way.
With just two wins and seven goals scored so far, it seems Swansea's efforts to maintain their Premier League status will go to the wire yet again.
League position: 19th (eight points)
Best game: Crystal Palace 0-2 Swansea
Worst game: Swansea 0-4 Manchester United
Best player: Tammy Abraham
The striker has played well this season, and received his first senior England call-up for friendlies against Germany and Brazil.
However, the 21-year-old is under huge pressure to get goals for the club after Fernando Llorente's deadline day departure from south Wales.
The Swans are in dire need of another provider of goals to support Abraham who is still developing his game.
However, Clement's ability to attract players like Renato Sanches means there is still hope for Swansea to perform another great escape.
