Manchester City have been putting in the kind of performances that have people suggesting they could be the greatest team to have ever played in the Premier League, and given they have won all but one match this season the suggestion rings true. The only game in all competitions that City have dropped points in was against Everton on the second matchday of the league season, and considering the respective form of both teams since then it certainly seems an anomaly. If City keep this up, the title of greatest ever Premier League team is surely theirs.

That is what some people are saying following the excellent start to the season enjoyed by Pep Guardiola's side. They sit top of the league table with 28 points from 10 games, having scored 35 goals and conceded only six.
But their brilliant form also extends to the other competitions they are involved in.
City have also won all their games in both the Champions League and the EFL Cup, meaning their 1-1 draw with Everton on Premier League matchday two is the only time Guardiola's side have dropped points in 2017/18.
They are currently on a run of 16 games unbeaten from the start of the season, but what is the current record in England for the longest undefeated start to a campaign?
