Real Madrid plotting sensational raid on Tottenham for Pochettino AND two star men – reports

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly on Real Madrid's radar

Real Madrid are plotting a sensational raid on Tottenham for manager Mauricio Pochettino and star men Dele Alli and Harry Kane.

That's the claim from the Daily Mail, with their report suggesting Real president Florentino Perez is ready to carry out a serious shake-up at the club.

Real have won back-to-back Champions League titles and LaLiga under Zinedine Zidane but have made a woeful start to this campaign.

They were beaten by lowly Girona at the weekend to fall eight points behind LaLiga leaders Barcelona and were humbled 3-1 by Tottenham in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Perez reportedly harbours serious doubts about Zidane's abilities to turn things around and is now said to be making plans to replace him and freshen up the squad.

According to the Mail, Pochettino is the number one target to replace the Frenchman should he be axed.

Pochettino has transformed Tottenham since arriving from Southampton in 2014, turning them into serious Premier League title contenders and one of the most exciting teams to watch in Europe.

And his stock rose further this week as he masterminded a 3-1 victory over Real in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Perez has praised Pochettino publicly in the past and could now turn to the Argentine to get Real back on track.

Even more worryingly for Spurs, he also said to be targeting a sensational double swoop for Alli and Kane.

The duo have been in outstanding form for Spurs and England in recent seasons, and Real could make a big-money double bid next summer.
