Name: Morgan Gibbs-White
Date of birth: 27/01/2000 (age 17)
Height: 1.71m (5 foot 7 1/2 inches)
Club: Wolverhampton Wanderers
International recognition: England Under-17s
What's his background?
Gibbs-White joined Wolves as an eight-year-old, earning his place in the first team at the beginning of this year having played in each age group of the club's academy.
Since then, he's made more than a dozen first team appearances and has gone on to enjoy success on the international stage. He was part of the England Under-17 team to win the World Cup in October, coming on from the bench to score the second goal in the 5-2 win over Spain in the final.
What's he saying?
While he's almost certain to be aware of the interest from Premier League clubs, since England's success he insists his feet have been kept firmly on the ground and he's focused on making an impression at Molineux.
"I have already put the achievement [with England] to one side," he told Birmingham Mail.
"I am focusing on first team football here and trying to push my way in.
"Personally my target now is to progress with the first team to get back on the bench and make a start, or play some cup games."
What's his playing style?
A versatile midfielder, Gibbs-White plays with a maturity and intelligence beyond his years. He's at his best when given the freedom to influence in the final third, either filling the number 10 role or, occasionally, playing up top. His smart movement is his strength.
