Gold and Sullivan were the men who decided to move West Ham to the Olympic Stadium, and though they got a fantastic deal, the decision has yet to bear real fruit for the Hammers. David Sullivan and David Gold have not been endearing themselves to the West Ham support.
The pair own the Hammers and made the decision to sack Slaven Bilic as manager on Monday. While that choice was relatively understandable, their decision to hire David Moyes as Bilic's replacement has been met with total and complete uproar from the London Stadium faithful.
In fact, it has been reported Sullivan and Gold knew how badly Moyes' appointment would be greeted by the West Ham fans – but still went ahead and hired him anyway!
Any goodwill for Sullivan and Gold has largely dissolved, and they are cementing their reputation among the least popular owners in the Premier League.
