Curse of Osiris is set to be the first major expansion for Destiny 2 and its release date is just a couple of weeks away.

The DLC will include new game modes and arenas, as well as new themed weapons and armour.

Players who have already worked their way through most of Destiny 2’s main content will be excited to see the new gameplay that the expansion will introduce.

What is the Curse of Osiris release date?

Bungie have confirmed that the Curse of Osiris DLC will be available from Tuesday 5th December.

How do I get Curse of Osiris?

Curse of Osiris is Expansion I of the two-part expansion pass which can be bought online as a digital download and is currently available for around £29.99.

Gamers who bought the Destiny 2 deluxe edition will already have the expansion pass included with their game.

Alternatively, you can buy the Curse of Osiris expansion separately for around £19.99.

Expansion II is set to be released in Spring 2018.

What can I expect from the Destiny 2 DLC?

The Curse of Orisis expansion will add a new cinematic story to the game along with returning characters and a new location, promising ‘all-new story missions and adventures’.

In the description for the DLC, it says you will ‘Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student – Ikora Rey.’

Some of the advertised features include –

  • Explore Mercury and its mysterious “Infinite Forest”
  • New story missions and adventures
  • New themed weapons, armor, and gear to earn
  • New cooperative activities
  • New competitive multiplayer arenas

Destiny 2 is also currently available for £20 in the Black Friday sales, so if you haven’t got your hands on the main game already, then now could be your chance.
