Manager Unai Emery has been under-pressure at the French club and has been widely linked with an exit ever since they were beaten by rivals Monaco to the Ligue 1 title last season.
PSG currently top the French top flight with ten wins and two draws from their first 12 games this term, there remain question marks over his long-term future.
Emery's initial two-year deal runs until the summer and it has been suggested that they will not extend it should he fail to steer them to at least the semi-final of the Champions League this term.
And, should PSG get rid of Emery, it is reported that Conte will be their number one target to take over.
The Italian has been linked with a return to his homeland for the past six months, despite leading Chelsea to the title in his first season.
AC Milan are said to be very keen on appointing him but now it seems as though he will have options in France too.
Some reports in England have claimed that Conte's position at Chelsea is currently unstable following a handful of disappointing results.
And it seems as though PSG are ready to take advantage of that should they give Emery the boot.
The rumours, reported by The Sun, claim Red Devils chiefs are fearing Mourinho could ditch the club and move to the French giants, as he feels he cannot compete with rival Pep Guadriola in the Premier League – More on that story HERE!
