Brighton have settled into Premier League football well winning four games so far

Sunday, November 12, 2017

This is Brighton's first season in the top flight since they were relegated from the old first division in 1983, but their progress makes it look like they never left.

Chris Hughton's side have been steady performers so far which has delighted the Brighton faithful.

League position: 8th (15 points)

Best game: West Ham 0-3 Brighton & Hove Albion

Worst game: AFC Bournemouth 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Best player: Glenn Murray

After struggling to make the jump from Championship to Premier League football in stints at Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, Murray is finally becoming a player of central importance for a Premier League side.

The forward is the Seagulls' form player with four goals in his last three games, including a brace in their dismantling of West Ham at the London Stadium.

Survival is undoubtedly the priority for the newly-promoted side so Brighton's current situation has to be seen as a success.

However, their December schedule sees them face Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea, which could show what they're really made of.
