The Reds will hope to restore normality after their shocking defeat to Red Star Belgrade in midweek, while Fulham simply must stop the rot
Liverpool will look to bounce back from their shock Champions League defeat to Red Star Belgrade when they host basement boys Fulham on Sunday.
A win would temporarily return Liverpool to the top of the Premier League table with Manchester City and Chelsea kicking off later.
Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is under increasing pressure following six successive league defeats. A heavy loss at Anfield could spell the end for the Serb.
And Liverpools potent front three Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah will fancy their chances against the leagues leakiest defence.
What the managers are saying
Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool): “I would be really an idiot – a few people think I am but not that much – if I would talk about any goal difference before that game.
“This is a really strange situation for Fulham, I can really imagine how they feel. Their football is good, a lot of things are really good, they caused City a lot of problems (in a 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat).
“You will never score a goal against a team like Fulham with the quality Fulham have only because you go to win the game with the wrong attitude and think about scoring, scoring, scoring. This game is a big challenge for all of us.”
Slavisa Jokanovic (Fulham): “Liverpool are coming off a defeat and they are hurt, but we are more than triple hurt than they are. We must put in triple effort and I expect my people are going to fight to make our supporters proud.
“Liverpool are a really dangerous team with important offensive weapons, we must show more ambition and be brave. If you are scared and play like kids then its not easy.”
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are available for selection after recovering from hamstring injuries.
Dejan Lovren, who has missed the last two games through illness, could be in contention after returning to training.
Fulham are expected to be without Kevin McDonald and Joe Bryan. Both are struggling with hamstring injuries.
Jokanovic could ring the changes after his side registered just one shot on target against Huddersfield.

Fulham: Rico; Christie, Odoi, Ream, Sessegnon; Seri, Cairney, Johansen; Vietto, Mitrovic, Schurrle.
