Eden Hazard intends to force Chelsea to sell him to Real Madrid by refusing to sign a contract extension, according to reports.

The forward spoke out about his future at the weekend, admitting he was torn between staying at Chelsea and joining Real.

Hazard was keen to sign for Real last summer, but his transfer was sidelined due to Thibaut Courtois determination to leave Chelsea.

Courtois refused to return to pre-season and effectively forced Chelsea to accept Reals offer.

Marca claim Hazard does not intend to force Chelsea into a corner in the same way Courtois did, but is confident he can manufacture the move by declining any contract extensions.

Hazard is currently tied to Stamford Bridge until 2020, and knows should he enter the summer of 2019 without having agreed a new deal, Chelsea will have to chose whether to sell him or lose him on a free transfer the following year.

The Belgium international wants to reach an agreement with Chelsea, and will not agitate for a move in the January window.

Hazard wants to leave the club on good terms and has no interest in signing for any club other than Real.

Chelsea are on a brilliant run in the Premier League with an in-form Hazard already on seven goals this season.

The Blues sit joint top of the table with Liverpool and Manchester City, and Hazard is leading the goalscoring charts ahead of strikers Harry Kane and Sergio Aguero.

Maurizio Sarri thinks Hazard is capable of scoring 40 goals this term, and Chelsea fans are hoping their club can launch a title tilt if Hazard continue to shine in attack.
