New York – Two-time champion Novak Djokovic did his part to set up a blockbuster quarter-final clash with Roger Federer at the US Open on Monday with a 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 victory over Portugal's Joao Sousa.
Djokovic, who claimed his 13th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, will play the winner of a Monday night match between five-time US Open winner Federer and Australian John Millman.
Djokovic and Federer have met six times before at Flushing Meadows, Federer winning the first three encounters and Djokovic the most recent three — including the finals in 2011 and 2015.
