The Barcelona star was celebrating his 26th birthday when his international teammates decided to surprise him
Philippe Coutinho was pelted by eggs and flour during Brazil training as part of his birthday celebrations.
The Barcelona playmaker was minding his own business during training, when a posse of Brazilians led by Neymar pelted the 26-year-old.
While the Brazil team will be hoping to cook up a storm this summer in Russia at the World Cup, it seems as though they had all the key ingredients to make a cake – but just forgot to actually put them together.
While the former Liverpool man was relaxing in Sochi, Neymar cracked an egg on his head and the floodgates opened.
Flour and what looked like sugar rained down upon the star, who was left in a mess at the end of it all thanks to the Paris Saint-Germain star.
However, it would not be long before he got his revenge on his international colleagues.
Whilst PSG forward cackled away to himself, Real Madrid stalwart Marcelo pulled his mischievous teammate to the ground.
Perhaps remembering the attacker was a former Barcelona star, Marcelo allowed Coutinho to claim his revenge and duly crack an egg of his own on Neymars head.
While the nation of Brazil may feel the pressure of the World Cup building, it certainly seems as though it has not yet permeated through to the team itself.
At the previous World Cup held in their own country, the Seleção were humbled 7-1 in the semi-final by eventual winners Germany.
Perhaps its no wonder then they finished the training session looking accustomed to having egg on their faces then…
Check out the hilarious results of the egging below!
