AS Monaco and Atletico Madrid announce that they have found an agreement in principle for the transfer of Thomas Lemar, a statement read.
The two clubs will continue to work in the coming days in order to find a definitive agreement.
Monaco have already sold Fabinho to Liverpool this month, and they are set to make further profit with the sale of Lemar.
The 22-year-old has notched 18 assists in 64 appearances for the club, helping to add even more creativity to an already talented front line at Atletico.
Lemar is currently on international duty with France at the World Cup, and will link up with his new team-mates after the tournament once the deal is officially confirmed.
