Neves is considered one of the brightest young stars in Portugal, but missed out on a spot in his countrys World Cup squad.

The news will be a blow to Neves who was involved in Portugals recent friendlies, but he has been given some advice by a Portugal legend, Deco.

He told Sky Sports: Hes doing his career step by step. Normally when a player is doing well, everybody says he needs to change to a big club, but I think hes doing his job. He needs to wait, hes young.

He did well in the Championship when people maybe believed that would not be possible. If I was him I would just relax now and enjoy the Premier League.
