Eden Hazard: Chelsea star warns he could LEAVE this summer if the club dont sign quality players

Eden Hazard has warned Chelsea he could leave the club if the Blues dont sign top quality players in the summer transfer window.

The Belgian star says he is taking his time to decide where his future lies, and that he is waiting for new players before he commits to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Hazards current contract with Chelsea runs until 2020, but it appears he is concerned over the overall quality of the current Blues squad after failing to qualify for Champions League football.

Antonio Conte appears to have paid for the clubs miserable Premier League title defence with his job, and Hazard has told the club he could be off too if they dont recruit players who are capable of turning the Blues into challengers again.

Real Madrid have been linked with an interest in the 27-year-old, who is said to be holding off on signing a new bumper £300,000-a-week contract at the Bridge.

Asked about his future, the Belgian flyer said: “Its a big decision, thats why Im taking my time… but one thing for sure is Im happy here.

“Im waiting for new players next season. We will see.

“I want good players, I want to win the Premier League next season. I dont think about [the managers future].”

Could Antonio Conte and Eden Hazard BOTH leave Chelsea this summer?

While he wont be playing in the Champions League next season, after Chelsea were beaten by Liverpool and Tottenham to a place in the top four, at least Hazard is close to completing one of his goals.

The Blues will face Manchester United in Saturdays FA Cup final and Hazard is despirate to ensure this season isn't a total failure for the west London club.

“This season has been bad, so now we can save a little bit with this trophy, so we will give everything,” he added.

“I need two more trophies — the Champions League and FA Cup. Trophies are important. Its more important for me as Ive never won this one.

“We cant be in the Champions League next season so we need to win a trophy.

“Its always hard after you win the league — we saw it two years ago. This season was not good but you know . . . this is Chelsea! You never know whats happening for the season.”

“For me in my mind, Im here, I have one week to play now. Saturday is a massive game.”
