Fortnite Mobile Sign Up Codes: THIS is when Epic are sending out iOS codes
If you've been in your inbox all day, clicking refresh and hoping for a code to access the new mobile event, you may be unhappy about the likelihood of Epic sending out codes today.
Paul Tassi, a journalist over at Forbes, has stating the following in a recent article:
“I spoke with Epic Creative Director Donald Mustard who told me that the initial codes will be going out later this week instead”
That's bad news for anyone that may be keen to get playing on their mobile device as soon as possible, but at least we know codes are en route soon.
It's worth bearing in mind, however, that even if you are signed up for Epic's mobile test, you may not get a code for the iOS version of the game right away: Epic is rolling out codes for the test in waves, meaning it could be a matter of months before you get to test the mobile version.
If you're eager to try out this new version of Fortnite, you can sign up for a chance to get a code here.

FORTNITE MOBILE RELEASE DATE
Fortnite Battle Royale on mobile doesn't have a release date just yet, however, based on whats been communicated by Epic Games so far, it doesn't appear as though we'll be waiting all that long.
It's possible though that first Epic Games could hold a test period for the game on mobile because, as we'll get to, the developers are holding sign-ups for an "invite event".
This is only on iOS and all communication regarding the Android release has suggested that it could still be "in the next few months."
HOW TO SIGN UP?
Starting this coming Monday, March 12, sign-up at www.Fortnite.com will be open for the Invite Event on Apple iOS devices.
Epic has not said when precisely on Monday the sign ups will be, but we wouldn't be surprised if the website chugs to a standstill as everyone fights to sign up ti the event.
Email invites will start rolling out "soon thereafter" but no official date has been shared just yet.
"When you are invited, you will receive an email with a link to download the game from the App Store. If you don’t receive an invite right away, don’t worry. We’ll be adding more players regularly over the coming months," epic warned.
Players who do receive invites from Epic will also get additional friend invite codes to share with friends.
